Support for participation
For students with impairment, chronic or mental illness, it can be a huge relief and a source of strength to meet like-minded people with similar experiences or to find out how other students cope with similar situations. At Bielefeld University, various networking groups and peer programmes have therefore been established, offering a safe space for exchange, networking and mutual support. Here are three examples of best practice that demonstrate how diverse and enriching such initiatives can be in supporting the day-to-day university life of affected students.
