Excel (Checklist and Implementation Guide)
Below you will find a summary of information on creating accessible Excel documents. In addition to the checklist, the Implementation Guide offers practical support in addressing individual checkpoints.
In the implementation guide, each aspect is divided into three sections:
Under the heading ‘What does this mean?’, you will find a detailed description of the aspect to be ticked off. The section ‘Why is this important?’ explains which barriers you are removing with the relevant aspect and for which groups of people this is essential. Finally, under the heading ‘How can you implement/check this?’, you will find detailed instructions on how to implement or check the relevant aspect.
To meet all needs and enable you to use these resources anytime and anywhere, the ‘Accessible Excel Checklist’ (Word document) and the ‘Accessible Excel Implementation Guide’ (Word document) are available for download.
