Assistive technologies/aids

There are various assistive technologies and aids available to support students with disabilities in their day-to-day university life.

• Examples of accessible physical equipment: privacy screens, adjustable tables and chairs, monitors with a stable viewing angle, monitor swivel arms, dimmable lamps, ergonomic input devices, large-print keyboards, etc.
• Examples of physical aids: screen readers, magnifiers, Braille displays, alternative input devices, Braille printers, hearing assistance systems, etc.
• Examples of assistive software: screen readers, automatic speech recognition, etc.
