Contrast

High contrast between foreground and background colours (e.g. in text) improves readability and makes text easier to read, particularly for people with visual impairments or colour blindness. To test the colour contrast of text on a computer for accessibility, there are various tried-and-tested methods and tools based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
