Disadvantage compensation

Disadvantage compensation for people with disabilities or chronic illnesses consists of statutory support measures and concessions designed to offset disability-related disadvantages or additional costs in various areas of life (e.g. work, education, mobility, taxation) and thereby enable equal participation. Disadvantage compensation is also available for examinations (e.g. extended writing time, adaptation of examination formats) or for admission to degree programmes.
