Tactile floor plan

Tactile floor plans help blind, visually impaired and sighted people to find their way around by presenting the layout of buildings, rooms or outdoor areas in a tactile format, and in some cases also using high-contrast colours. Raised lines and textures, amongst other features, are used to enable tactile perception. There is usually a key, which is designed to be both visually and tactilely accessible, using Braille or raised lettering.
