Student Assistance
Student assistance provides personalised support for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses. Its aim is to enable students to participate in their studies on an equal footing. Assistance helps to break down disability-related barriers in everyday student life. It is possible that study assistants may also be fellow students who provide assistance as part of a (paid) part-time job. Assistance may include, for example:
- Taking notes during courses
- Photocopying reading material from the library
- Reading out reading material aloud
- Accompanying the student around campus
