Disability Justice

Disability Justice is an approach that does not merely focus on legal rights for people with disabilities, but takes a comprehensive view of the realities of life for people with disabilities, particularly when they also experience discrimination on the grounds of racism, sexism or other forms of inequality. The approach emphasises the importance of participation, co-determination and solidarity, and takes into account how different forms of oppression intersect.
