Subtitles and enhanced subtitles

Subtitles are usually used to assist with audiovisual media. They help people with hearing impairments ranging from mild to severe, as well as those who are deaf. Subtitles can also assist people who do not understand the spoken language fluently. Subtitles reproduce the spoken language more or less word for word. Enhanced subtitles also include descriptions of sounds or musical elements.
